CLOZE TESTS

Cloze test

Definition:

In banking examinations, the cloze test passage is usually based on banking, economics or commerce based topics or discussions.

Here the applicant is examined with a view to replace the missing words in order to test his or her verbal and language reasoning.

Cloze tests need the ability to understand context and vocabulary in order to recognize the correct words or type of words that belong in the deleted passages of a text. This exercise is commonly managed for the assessment of native and second language learning and instruction.

How to solve the cloze tests?
